MEDIATORS IN INTERORGAN CROSSTALK MEETING 3-4 NOVEMBER 2025
Interorgan crosstalk can be defined as the complex multidirectional communication between distant organs by signaling factors that act as autocrine, paracrine, or endocrine mediators to regulate whole-body homeostasis. Many chronic inflammatory and metabolic diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and cutaneous and neuro-inflammatory conditions, feature alterations in the interorgan crosstalk. The deeper understanding of interorgan networks should facilitate early diagnosis of the disease, improve short- and long-term therapeutic strategies, and promote healthy living and aging.
This meeting will address the molecular basis of interorgan communication in patients, organoids, mouse, and cellular models, including sex-specific differences and therapeutic approaches.
The event will take place in person at the Casa de la Ciencia (CSIC) building , located at C/Bailía nº 1, Valencia on Monday and Tuesday, November 3 and 4.
The official language of the meeting will be english
An abstract of 250 words max has to be enclosed with the registration form (see suggested abstract)
